I'd much prefer to see a pricing table, much like Hellkom's on this site rather than having to read through the same articles time and again. I'm not sure why it isn't here as it really does seem as if half the posts and traffic on the site are for people asking the same questions. Would be nice to have this guide as the industry is changing so regularly it would be a perfect point of contact for everyone.
Especailly with supportive documentation as to why most people don't offer the bundled line and data packages.
Despite the unbelieveable hassle of dealing with Telkom, in our opinon it is not worth the customer's time to bundle with a single company. The reason being that telkom do not allow you to move from one provider to another. You MUST move your ADSL line back to Telkom and then it can be transferred to another provider.
In this turbulent market, the last thing you want to be doing is putting all your eggs in one basket and then havin gto fight to get them out again. Leaving the line with Telkom allows you to switch provder and data carrier with very little hassle at all.
Of course, as soon as the ISP can offer all the company's products (hopefully from 1st June/July) then it might be worth finding the ISP you get the best service from and then just swapping between IS, MWeb and IS etc etc...
