Bundled uncapped ADSL services

Pretty cheap if one thinks about it. Uncapped for 350 a month which you can easily do 40gig's with out even trying isn't bad!

Can anyone who has an MWEB 512 line answer some questions for me:

What is your download speed during the day (weekdays)?

What is your download speeds like after hours during the week & on a weekend?

How much can you download before they throttle you?

What do you average in GB's / month?

Looking forward to your responses.

Yaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwnnnnnn . . . . . . . . . wait a minute I think I have seen this article before.......Oh yes its the same article that the staff writers dont want dust to settle on!

so @lantic and mweb are the only uncapped bundled providers then?

I think you people naggin so much need to launch your own tech info sites because clearly you don't give a rats behind for people who are still joining the site and are still novices in the arena.

Besides, I don't think anybody is holding a gun to your heads shouting "read the damn article, go on read it...now digest it....then talk about it in your sleep!!!"

+1

People are joining this forum & reading this site daily. Even though this offering has been out a while, its still great news.

same articles every week! either I can see into the future, or the same stories get published weekly!

From what I can tell, they have not done a summary of the bundled uncapped packages before. They have done cheapest uncapped, and cheapest capped, etc, but not this particular version. They only issue I found strange is that there are so few. I really thought a large number of providers did this, especially Webafrica. On closer look at a number of ISP's, bundled uncapped is a scarcity.

This does not include the Titan specials from WA for instance Titan Complete 2 includes 25GB and Fastest DSL line up to 10mb... for R599

I have the MWeb 512k running over a 4mb line and I average about 50K/s all the time normally a bit more.
They don't throttle you at all it is just shaped, confirmed by the sales person and a few other friends that have the service comfirm it.
I play WOW (US) and Counter Strike Source (IS Server) and I have the lowest pings of all the ISP's I have tried to date.
So far I have downloaded 40GB this month and no problem, but time will tell :)

Torrents ar between 10 and 20 during the day. After hours it's about 40 - 50.
No throttling!!!!

Last month I did 99.2GB. I'm already sitting on 60.8GB for this month.(80%+ is torrents)
