I went to McD's today to get something along the lines of dessert, ended up with that new Choc frappe thingy with whipped cream on top.
Anyways, something about the smell inside a McD's joint that I love. Have not had a burger there in about 8 months though. Only go there when I crave their soft serve type desserts.
I'm not against eating their burgers mind you, I just prefer Steers over McD's. And all the sugar they put in their food does worry me somewhat. I don't mind sugar in dessert type stuff but I don't reckon it belong in burgers and what not.

I have tried it as well. Think it is a washed out version of the original Starbucks. Usual MC *****. Missing Starbucks in SA. Heard there is some new american franchise that opened here gloria jean's coffees. They got few shops in JHB. Did not have the chance of trying it. Did someone try it yet?

They are Australian. Piss poor. The one in Bayside opened and closed in about 4 months.

Don't know if they are piss poor, but got more then 1000 coffee shops in 40 different countries. They should be doing something right at least. Still would like to try them. Can not be much worst then McD or BK for that matter.

I was in cape town last week and tried it. Filled me up nicely. Not a bad spot at all, lines was a little crazy but i managed.

When was that? I didn't even notice a new place opening up there, then again I don't go to the mall very often. Cinnabon is closed a while back I see which I find quite strange seeing their store front wasn't exactly very large, they must have really not sold very much.

Did they wear gloves while preparing the food? Cape Town branch's staff don't wear gloves.
