Burger King Review

Will probably head past the Sandhurst one in a few, to check what's happening.

Sandton store has a park and ride.
People queuing since 2 this morning!

really? omg, and here I thought SA having the 3rd highest obesity rate was kinda false

unless they give a free xbox one with the meal, or happy handy I will not queue for that amount of time

Yesterday I was at Tiger Valley. Burger King with McD opposite. I had McD.

Drove past the Rivonia store at 14:30, cars parked on the pavement all along Rivonia Road on the bend past the Shell garage up there. Lines are full, don't think anything is dying down.

How busy were the respective stores? Interested to know if interest in Burger King is sustaining or dying down?

Burger King had about 3 people in the queue and a few sitting down.

McD had no one in the queue and also a few sitting down. McD is a much bigger place though.

This was at like 10:30 so not really peak hours.

I am sure the Park station BK would not be as busy. People would generally not go there unless they are taking a bus or dropping someone off. That place is also soooo hot, the queues (if any) should be quite smelly.

I just got back from the gautrain now, I saw masses mulling about outside - so yeah good luck with that.

Is the smell as you drive past better than KFC? At the KFC in Gabriel Road, Plumstead its a bit nauseating. Plus there are bergies hanging about

Managed to sneakily get a few whoppers and sides, was good.
People qued, even in the rain. Average que time on Sandton was about two hours.
Donuts were sold out :(

Managed to actually get a couple of whoppers at Park Station at about 8PM. Stood in a queue for about 15 minutes.

Burgers weren't too bad. Certainly not worth some people queueing since 2AM I heard. :wtf:

On the whole, I'd say it was decent.

Highlight was some dude who kept asking why they didn't have bacon. I understand his frustration, but why stand in a queue just to cause a scene. Chop.
