10 actually
4 stores in Gauteng and 6 in the cape
Are all 10 open? The Kenilworth one says, "Please Note:
This store only operates on race days", which appears to be Wednesdays and Fridays

Anyways, BK only have about 495 branches to go to catch up to Steers and Wimpy ;) Demand will continue to exceed supply for a while yet.

Went to Centurion branch around half past six, line wasn't bad. Had a whopper meal. Tasted good. I also had forgotten what mountain dew tasted like.

ok so 9.5 :D still more then what you said Gauteng all 4 are open (so not like 3 or 4 in the whole country - Guess i just dont get it.
I went to cape town a couple of months after the first one opened (think tygervalley had just opened) - It was busy but not queues round the corner busy. Figured that Joburg having 3 open at once (now 4) would be good busy and not crazy busy like it is

As I have only tried a standalone burger so far (and not a meal), something got me wondering...as I understand, the drinks are bottomless and there is a soda station in the "proper" restaurants (meaning, not inside a Sasol like the Centurion one)

So what happens when you buy a meal at the Centurion one? I did not see a soda station there, unless I missed it? Are the drinks there not bottomless or can you go to the front and ask for refills?

Yeah, I reckon until you have enough BK's close enough to one another that they compete for each other's business, they will be busier than is acceptable for "fast food" outlets.
