reviving an old thread but my friends friend in Centurion had the Lexan clear bars where they cut it very easily and broke into his home. If anyone wants more info, PM me and I will get the guys name you can contact directly and ask questions if need be.

I've read this on so many forums as well. The only time it seems you should use them is in non-ground floor flats.
