Business Focus Interview

Personally I think a nice half page ad in a couple of big daily newspapers would be a great way of informing the public...ala Firefox in the NY Times.

An especially good move would be to put it into one of the main "black" dailies - eg. the Sowetan...

I'd love to see Ivy scramble to damage control that!!

We could highlight that phone calls in Zimbabwe cost half what Telkom charges...

There are media types that lurk here.

/me casts summon Media spin doctors +2

Print and TV ads are insanely expensive. Perhaps running them as a non-profit would lower costs. Biggish print ad = R50k AFAIK.

Ok, good point, however another idea is one of them stickers that will stick to a window - like the rump end window of a car - or some other derivative that won't cause damage if removed.

The idea being to get people to notice the slogan & url whilst stuck in traffic or whatever - if it's a licence holder on the front of the car we will only end up with Metro Police visiting the forum

Yeah, a nice decal for my rear window could work. I would definately be willing to stick one those under my kenwood logo :p

BTW: pmsl @ metro

Or what about getting Laugh It Off (CT based) to come up with a few ideas and sell various T-Shirts....

I certainly like the sticker idea as when people are waiting in 6pm rush hour traffic they will maybe read something on the back or on the side of the window

Another crazy idea is having a MyADSL sponsored car:P with all Telscum facts that RPM only rides around in.

Awesome, well spoken rpm, you brought your message across very well..!
"Their concern is their shareholders and not really the public".. hehehe.. ;)

Thanks rpm I really enjoyed that interview
How about those windscreen fliers that they put under the windscreen wipers of cars.
Although Im not sure if it's too legal

Sweet - good to c ya RPM. Well done on the interview.

Having seen the power of a video, maybee we should produce a proper download'able interview/presentation and try to get the local IT media to include the presentation with their distribution disks.
