Buying gaming laptop - help needed

I've recently decided to get a new gaming notebook. Firstly, I am unsure whether to go international or local with my purchase. I know it costs a fair bit to ship hardware here from overseas but the models from the US, for instance, cost far less than the same models available locally. I want to know if it is worth it in the end to import.

Secondly, I would appreciate some suggestions. My budget is around 20 000 -25 000. I want the most power I can possibly get and something that is also aesthetically pleasing.

I've always wondered about gaming notebooks. The 8530w and 8730w seem like good notebooks, but for R26000, and no upgrade options, it just does not make sense.... What about Alienware if you going to import?

As long as it has a quad with 4gigs ram and a decent graphics card it should be fine.

MSI offers the most bang for the buck on gaming laptops. Your price range should be able to get something good but it's actually slightly awkward - the real xps gaming lappies are over 30k. It's hard to find one that just fits that kind of budget. pc-direct has a great msi gaming lappie with a 130m for 18k that I think is a good deal.
