Buying IPODs from Amazon.com

160gig 7th Gen Classic Ipod + Shipping =~R1900.

The the question is, do apple products have an international guarantee?
Also, anyone have issues with buying from Amazon.com (esp. electronic stuff)?

Yes Apple products have international warranty. Amazon don't ship their electronics overseas, so you'll have to get someone in the US to remail it for you.

Yes, some Apple products, iirc including the iPods, have an international warranty.

I think all of them do. However, getting your warranty honoured may be tough. I don't have experience in this respect.

This is the Amazon Global store, which contains everything they ship overseas. I didn't see iPods there.
