Buying Laptop. Need Advice

Hi Guys,

A friend of mine wants to buy a laptop and her budget is about R6500-R7000.

Does anyone have any good suggestions for what she can get for the price. She is not going to be playing games on the laptop it's more for work and watching movies.

Was helping another user this afternoon and there is a special on the below, should be able to get it for around R6500. Am considering getting one for myself.... Of course you could save a bit if you buy a Celeron.

Choose your budget, and see what features you do or don't want (Bluetooth, fingerprint reader, etc).

I might suggest the Dell Vostro A860 with Pentium Dual-Core.

Well if you're interested ... I made a boo boo with a customer and am sitting with an HP 530, the celeron version. It is brand new, but it has been opened and switched on ... I can give it to her for R5700 incl. VAT.

That notebook doesn't exist anymore ... and I'm selling this one at cost ... my notebooks are admittedly out of date ... ... I'm trying to get everything up to date ASAP
