omw i hate buying meat for ppl

why do they ask

i dont eat meat, i hate meat

why do ppl ask, dont they know how animals are brutally murdered

also ppl stink of braai vlies, dont they know this? nothing worse than waking to a chick who has been to braai

braai's destroy the ozone layer, yet everyone is always braaiing

/thread inspired by the smokers thread

meat can cause cancer and causes heart attacks

that just grates my carrot
 
I'm a meat eater! I'm sick and tired of you non-meat-eating lot always insulting us and talking about how dirty our habit is! It's a free country and I'm only damaging MY health, so I should be able to do it if and whenever I want to!
 
I got an invite to a party in 1st yr 'varsity that went something like:

"Bring your own meat ... and something to put on the braai aswell. ;-)"
 
I dislike fat people. I also dislike smelly people. Fat people waddle along making me late for everything. Smelly people irritate my nose. Especially if they're wearing cheap perfume. These two usually go together.

What is it with people who dont eat meat, always insulting people who eat meat!!!

Are they lonely? Are they depressed that we enjoy delicious meat?

Do we ever complain about them?

Nothing better than the smell of a "tjoppie" on the braai, and the cows we kill on the farm is done in now brutal way what so ever! ;)
 
oooooooooooooooooh Braai meat. I would braai every day if i could. Chops, chicken and wors with some good marinade. Makes me want to start a thread and dedicate it to the art of braaing :D

mmmmm im hungry now.
 
Never figured killadoob as the vegan/vegetarian type.:p

I eat meat. Might try the whole vegan/vegetarian thing later in life...but not now.

Unfortunately braai's are the national pasttime, so killa I think your best bet is to emigrate to somewhere where the weather is decisively unkind to braai'ers? Canada/UK?

Huh? :confused: I dont know of a single meat eater who is ashamed to admit to it.

How does meat cause cancer - well done beef I have heard of, but I eat mine rare so I think I am safe?

Heart attacks!? Lean meat wont cause a heart attack, it is the fat that is the worrying bit.

And braais!!?? What kind of South African are you!? I sincerely doubt a braai is a major contributing factor to global warming.

Some interesting facts about meat:

It serves as a fabulous source of high quality proteins, which a single vegetarian food is not able to provide

It contains all the essential amino acids that the body requires.

Red meat contains very high quantities of iron, when compared with plant origin foods

u guys more than likely missed it but i just posted this out of randomness like a cigi thread :)

i think the only person who picked up on it was mess :)

i dont eat meat but nobody ever asks me to buy it for them and i love braai's :)
i do eat fish though so i aint a veggie :)
