You mean the difference is only visible under ideal conditions? Wow, thats great. Pay R4000 extra for something you can only see in the dark at default settings using material you know well. Great. Definitely worth it.
No you misunderstood, in the brightly lit stores and on the configuration they have all LCD's look equal, it's only when you get home you start to notice the problems. I had a Sinotec 42" for almost 3 years, there were compression artefacts on the SD signal, the contrast ratios were all over the place and it just could never get the quality of the equivalent Sony at the time.
But yeah I cannot compare on this particular brand
