I wish they'd tone down the arcade style gameplay. Nothing kills immersion like mowing down the 5th row lemmings that come running at you in a minute

I can bet a R1000 that those screenshots are only from the xbox 360 and pc versions ! Gamedevs never release ps3 port screenshots 1st cause they know it usually lacks eye candy and detail

I'm starting to like short and action packed over drawn-out. Long and action-packed would be ideal though...

I enjoyed the modern setting, but would have preferred they'd left it for the 5th installment and rather did something like the Vietnam War for the 4th.

COD2 was absolutely fantastic in my book, i loved every minute of it, if world at war could have the same length of playtime as COD2 had i would be a very happy camper! COD4 rocks, but yeah, is rather short. i must admit though, world at war is certainly sitting on my "to buy" list

From what I gather you guys are not that impressed with COD4. I love COD2 especially when lanning with some buds. COD1 is again okay if some of the guys lanning don't have decent computers. Do you think the COD4 is a worth it buy or rather just wait for COD5?

Nope ! COD 4 is extremely impressive on a graphical level and on a gameplay level, the only gripe with it is that it's story mode is very short the longevity comes from the multiplayer mode IMO

Agree 100% with that....great game but very short.
For COD5,i also would have preferred an extension of some more modern warfare vrs WW2

I still haven't finished TimeShift yet & i reckon it beats Gears of War for those that like that game & are waiting for GOW2.

I decided to get a copy of COD4 this weekend. Picked it up on saturday afternoon, started it around 10pm on Saturday evening. played for 3.5 hours and after another 2 or so on sunday, felt very cheated.

The game looks great and is very flashy but thats about where it ends. Unending waves of lemmings unless you move, too many rushed timed missions with unending waves of lemmings.

Its a long time since I felt that I totally wasted my money buying a game.

Nah this one looks good, but I will agree if you say:

"Still wish they'd RELEASE A SERIOUSLY LONGER EXPANSION PACK to COD4"
