Personally, I couldn't agree more and I wish the DoC and ICASA would pay attention to that idea.

No...its good this way. Now the Gov has a cable that it can bicker about & screw up....while Seacom just goes and gets it done quietly.

Without a gov backed cable, they would try to interfere & control Seacom.
