earlier in this thread I saw someone from the JHB concert post a menu that included Black Label ... I don't even like black label, but would have killed to have that instead of Castle Lite only in CPT
FFS!Nope, no black label at the JHB concert.

Conne to think of it, I didn't see them using the taps either. All the drinks were poured from cans into the jugs.FFS!
CPT had one item different at the bar, no Castle Lite on tap, they had taps, but I never saw them use it unless it was just me ...
and they had Corona Cero i.e. alcohol free Corona, I even tried it in case it's slightly better than Castle Lite ... it wasn't
would've much preferred almost ANY other SAB beer, just not Castle Lite![]()
Concerts are always going to be expensive, that's not going to go away. SAB Marketing must have paid a kick back for them to select those products on offer. At brauhaus, and most other places selling SAB products it’s R45 for a castle lite drought - and then it’s at least a proper drought poured from a tap (but it still tastes crap). R60.00 is daylight robbery, especially when it’s poured from a can and it’s not even properly cold.
R57.00 buys you a 500ml Hoegaarten at a decent restaurant, and that’s 100% imported
