Can i return meat that is horrible when cooked.

Lamb is popular here, but not everywhere in the world. It definitely can be an acquired taste, with many saying the meat is too gamey. Lots of people I know don't like it.

I prefer eating bacon when I make it myself. Although I don't buy it. Get a packet or two from my mom at times.
I can go without it though.
Burgers with it is cool too.
The stomach issues I experience with pork is from pork tjops and pork steaks. It really grinds my bowels. Aches, cramps, fluids. Can't explain it really.

Like goat in India where all the 'lamb' is actually goat meat - I switched to chicken and fish after I discovered that

i lived on goat chops in london for 3 years for our weekend braais, it was the cheapest meat and tasted awesome :)

Cheaper route is to rather chow a boerie bread with a nice boerewors.
Sometimes paying premium for meat doesn't give the premium taste. As this thread shows. A t-bone when marinated nicely goes further as well, cheaper too.
That's my argument for beef.
On hard times I've cooked wors straight in the Microwave as well. Seasoned properly it doesn't taste bad.
Best and faster in a nonstick pan, fryer though.
 
Back in the OLD days they used to kill chefs that couldn't cook. There were no bad chefs around...

Interesting, I've never been to India, but I've only ever seen goat being referred to as mutton.
