Can someone explain to me how data rollover works

Either someone needs to explain to me how the rollover works again or something is wrong here (or my math skills has deteriorated even more than I thought) :

September

Threshold : 919.91 MB
Used : 303.62 MB
Remaining : 616.29 MB

I have a MyMeg 500 bolt on on my contract, and did not buy any extra data during August (the 919MB was 419MB rolled over from July).

Shouldn't I have 1000MB for September?

How did you get the usage figure? From the figures given you should have 1000MB in September.

Makes perfect sense. With Vodacom you got to use up your monthly allocation before you can get to the carryover from the previous month.
In August you:

1. Got 550MB (10% extra promotion)
2. Used 303MB, so 247MB left to carry over
3. As you didn't use at least the full 550MB allcoation the 419MB carryover from July is forfeited.
4. So balance in September = 500+247=747MB

Basically you can carry over only every second month.

Ok, now I understand. I covert airtime into bundles on a top up contract so mine works differently.
