Cancel 8ta Internet 5 contract

Hi all.

I want to know wether it is possible to cancel my Internet 5 promo contract early. I have been having a lot of connectivity and speed problems s have decided to go with telkom uncapped Internet so have no need for the 8ta contract anymore. I remember reading on here a while back that it is possible and that you have to give a months notice? Also being that you don't receive anything with the contract, you won't have anything to payback (ie no dongle, router ect to payoff) .

Please could someone clarify this for me.

Even if my service has been terrible lately and thus had to move over to Telkom ADSL?

Did you test/check whether your area is covered for the I5 promo?
If you're are covered its their problem to sort out, why should you pay to cancel.

Also considering canceling and going back to adsl, due to the stability issues with the latency.
