Cancel Mweb for Telkom new pricing

You want to cancel them, as in the entire company? I don't think you can do that unless you're the goverment.

Excuse me? Are you drunk? :D

Hey, I'm not the one wanting to sommer "cancel" a whole company...

I assume you want to cancel your subscription instead. Just phone their customer service line and tell them, they will send you a form to confirm the cancellation. Or just PM MWEBGuy on the forums here.

There are 2 options:

1) Send in a cancellation and before end of tomorrow and wait for February to end as you need to give a full calendar month's notice.

2) If you don't care about burning bridges, you can leave your downloads running 24/7 and receive a swift ban.

How would one go about cancelling Mweb?

Thanks

Hi marine1

I am sorry to hear that you want to leave MWEB, tell me is there anything I can do to make you reconsider ?

I think I will cancel one of my accounts, Thanks for the reply, I want 10mb, I am syncing at over 10 and it just does not make sense if I can get more than double the speed for not much more, don't you agree?

This argument is sound ^
Let us know how the experience is on the "dark side" - considering to make the move myself :)

Call 021 596 8480 and get them to send you a cancellation form ASAP - if you don't get it completed by tomorrow you're going to have to pay for March as well. As it is your service will run until the end of Feb.

I've just sent mine in. Had to hold for longer than usual - I guess they're busy…

Thanks for the reminder, going to call now to cancel.

Yes so Mweb really need to come to the party, not sure why they don't want to compete, surely there is enough room to play around with the price?

In my experience, the more people sign up with "Bargain ISP's", the more people complain about service received. Yes not in all cases, but more often than not. I'd say find a ISP you happy with, and acquire a service which is consistent with what you require vs the amount you are willing to pay. It's a case of you get what you pay for. And no, I'm not a Mweb subscriber/ fan boy :p
