Cancel Mweb for Telkom new pricing

Now for us to get email address portability...let me take my iTunes linked MWEB (stupid, i know) email address with me to any ISP. Lol
Why don't you just update the email address iTunes uses to something that isnt linked to an ISP, like gmail?

Why would anyone nowadays still use an ISP's email address - it pretty much locks you into them until you change your address. Get with the times - its time to open a gmail account :)

I think I am going to try Telkom for a month or two and if I don't like it then will go to Mweb.

Using a 2mb account and going to get the uncapped account.

Reason for doing Telkom: flexible payment options (doing EFT and they don't hassle me when I am late).

I am also moving back to Telkom from Afrohost. I must say out of all the accounts I have had my Telkom one was always the best.

Well the thing to do is buy a 10 year domain for about $100, park it and use gmail email hosting.

Aren't Mweb & Monochoice both owned my Naspers? :erm:

VERY expensive PayTV & Expensive but Quality ISP, cant these people bundle their services with a discount like they do in Europe/USA?

Personally, I'm gonna enjoy the new network you guys are creating for us mwebers, more capacity for us!

It make sense for cable operators to do this. The TV, voice calls and internet come across the same cable. But you have a point that they could also bundle their packages. Although with so little competition in the TV market, NoChoice has no reason to do that. People will buy DSTV anyway to avoid watching SABC/ETV/TopTV.
