I've followed the above steps on 26 January and got a reference number. I've served the cancelation period of one month (February) but today, on the 1st of March, the sim is still active. Is it possible that it will be on pre paid on the 1st of April.

The service is still active, I've just checked on the app and the sim as well on a router. What must I do now.

Ok been there with both Telkom and MTN, surprisingly ICASA assisted me, even got a refund. This is was in the days when I still was on contracts, and about 10 years ago.
