This is something I need to investigate.
+1 I'm also finding the monthly payment just too high. I've downgraded my package to the lowest one. I'm paying R20 pm to keep my account active, and if things change, I might upgrade to premium again in the future.
Going to spend the time doing more interesting things like learning to play guitar or piano, finish my Masters degree, maybe larn another language, and make more random posts on internet forums.

Problem is, drifta quality is horrendous. I had one for one day and returned it.
Gonna find out about the streaming thing for supersport. We have an mweb account.
Uhm ya, only thing is.. drifta is now almost R50/pm - I'm going to cancel mine
Multichoice is such a big rip off for the full package it's just unreal
Pity they have the monopoly on sport transmission
It cost me R80 worth of airtime to contact multichoice just to set up a debit order for my dad. Their online functionality is beyond useless and they just have absolutely zero interest in their customers.
Also thinking of cancelling but don't have internet access at home, adsl works out to be more expensive than DSTV sub's anyway.
I had it for 6 months then got gatvol of sitting behind pc waiting, or having downloads fail , being throttled.
Friend of mine has netflix in UK via some solution, 50mb uncapped line.

That's the thing. I and probably every other guy in SA are really paying all of this money every month for the sport. If they'd only chuck M-net into one of the cheaper packages and we had access to the Saffer S15 games, the Boks and the odd big English premiership games it wouldn't be so bad. Even for 3 or 400 a month.

Cancelled DSTV a few months ago. Only thing that I miss is sport on the weekends.
