Hi

I want to cancel my ADSL. It is ridiculously slow and doesn’t seem like anything can be done about it and I think it is maybe time to move to LTE or fibre since it’s newly available in my area.

So my line is managed by my ISP. They tell me the line will get handed over to Telkom when the termination date arrives. Does this mean I’ll have to cancel the ADSL line though Telkom too? Then do I have to wait another month before I can finally cancel my line or can Telkom cancel immdeiatley and charge pro-rata?

Can anyone advise with the process please?

Yup, you gotta wait up to a month for cancellation at the ISP and only after that, another month's notice to cancel at Telkom. It's awesome. Been there, done that.
