Cannot access international sites/servers on GPRS

@pre-g-user the conclusion reached here is that google.com is redirecting although I am still not totally convinced of this lol

I checked and I am definitely accessing Google.com and not .co.za. I can also access Gmail and even send and receive mail through it whereas I cannot access any of my primary email accounts in Canada. I tested various international sites, most are stone dead and just timeout. Some start transmitting data and then timeout. I figure it is a Telkom outage in Cape Town but who knows at this point. Guess it's an early night tonight.

SAIX confirmed they had a problem with their links to AT&T in the US.

Now why did the ADSL guys not see the same problem?
