canon 400d firmware update

Hi, ive been trying to update the firware to V1.10 so i can update to v1.11, i cant find the 1.10 version anywhere and it says on the latter one to have 1.10 installed first, i currently have 1.05, any help would be great thanks

nevermind its not available, cameras so old and outdated now doesnt make any difference, delete thread.

While you're at it have a look at http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/400D and give your camera a real upgrade. Higher ISO and spot metering to name a couple bonus features.

BTW when they say - "The Version 1.1.1 firmware being released this time is for cameras with firmware up to Version 1.1.0." they mean that you can use it to update pre-1.1.0 so it will work with 1.0.5.

HEy thanks for the link, i ended up here http://code.google.com/p/400plus/, the warning and hack words dont make me feel to goood about putting this on camera, the installation look scarey, have you tried it?

yes, I've installed the hack on both of my 400Ds and it worked like a charm. The hack remains on the cf card so once you've removed it the camera reverts back to normal.
