Thought about ordering something else from them but the guy manning B&H Photo's chat client was a bit of snot so I've decided to give Adorama a try. Cant think of anywhere else ATM.

two questions I'd ask: do you use the 150-500 often & do you use the zoom range? And a comment: the 150-500 is has more reach than the 300+1.4, so that raises another question: will the difference between 420 and 500 (slightly less than) impact on your pics? Three nos and I reckon sell.

I probably dont use it often enough but when I do it's probably more at full reach than any other focal distance.

What I'm wondering now is if I got a 2x TC how will images from that and the 300mm compare to the 500mm. I might rent a 2x for a weekend before I decide about the Sigma.
