Hey all...
i know i might be the unmfteenth person to ask this, but u have racked the forums and still cant come to clean conclusion of which way to go..
I am getting my ADSL from Telkom in a few days(hopefully
) but still stuck
on the choice of modem/router i want to get. One of the things i couldnt really
get is what is the difference between ADSL2 and ADSL2+, which obviously will determine which one i choose.
What im looking for in basic is a ADSL modem/wireless router. I got the SMC Wireless N USB stick as a gift so thinkin i should try gettin at least a wireless N router to maximise the throughput (and be ready when it becomes standard anyway). I guess the LAN ports arent THAT important but they could be handy if all else fails. Ive read that the Netgear DGN2000 is mostly fitting my requirements, but then i dont know if it would be optimally compatible with my SMC receiver.
Anyone out there that can mayb shed some light on the choice for me?
