I've read claims "depression" in many cases is simply an intelligent individual simply more aware of their situation/circumstances and responding to it in a rational manner. In other words not like others too dumb to notice how crap they have it lol

Called depressive realism.

Not that I think I am an Einstein, but I've often looked at some people and thought how wonderful it would be to wander the world in the same mild bovine-like contentment they seem to enjoy.

Key word there. You can't possibly know how someone really feels, it could just be a facade to fool the world. Even if not, they're infinitely better than those who ensure that everyone knows just how miserable they are (not directed at you).

You're one of them aren't you? Just drop that facade of good-natured trolling and give us a true insight into how you really feel.

Think of it as therapeutic.

Or take an Antivan

Try the Dr Boxall's if you haven't, decent strength.

I can't personally comment, but I have experienced friends who rave about it.

Maybe they are just on something stronger than you. You are only seeing a snapshot of their lives. Maybe they just dismembered somebody and are feeling pretty good about it.

Well, I've now managed 8 days without a drop of alcohol.

Go me. :)

The only way to do something is to do it. So....just do it Copa.
When people say "you can" it's not wishful thinking, it's fact. Others have, so can you.
