Can't use Telkom details in another router?

Just read your thread @Grouter, exactly the same problem on my side.

The Guest account connected fine. This Telkom account is a 50Gb softcap/@telkomsa.net account.

What the hell??

The router is throwing the below:

43 2016-08-11 12:08:38 PPP Error ppp0 LCP down
44 2016-08-11 12:08:38 PPP Error ppp0 Failed to authenticate ourselves to peer
45 2016-08-11 12:08:38 PPP Information ppp0 rcvd [PAP AuthNak id=0x1 "Login incorrect"]

How can it be incorrect logins when I'm using the exact same logins on the Huawei...

Definitely a username/password issue of some kind.

Are you sure you aren't maybe adding a space at the end by accident?

Copy and paste i found seems to add a space in the beginning sometimes, hit backspace a few times before entering the details. Maybe you never know

TI had some strange problems with passwords couple of years back when they changed the requirements for a "secure" password, might apply in this case.

Login to mytelkom and try changing it - https://apps.telkom.co.za/access-manager/protected/view/mytelkom
