I have a booking to eat at Heston's restaurant in London on 20 Dec... Have been saving up for a while now as prices are :wtf:

Have you been to Simpson's on the Strand? A quintessential London restaurant, complete with smoking rooms, sherry when you arrive and proper butlers with a deferential attitude.

I must say, menu pricing in Soho is very much competitive with our own upmarket SA restaurants. Wine can get very expensive locally as well...

Hopefully you don't get food poisoning like one bacth of fat duck clients :p

I would rather spend good money at a Stellenbosch wine farm or upmarket restaurant.

Our food is tastier and higher quality than the Poms will ever be able to import.
