Disbanding the scorpions was a stupid move, no doubt about it.. but I'll wait to see what DIPSI is capable of before I call it a total failure.

We're a part of the SADC which does have certain requirements in terms of population movements.

I think its "nationwide" in the sense that they wanted to run in municipalitites In the WC, NC and EC. Needless to say, their focus will be in the WC. The idea is that following Independence, they could persuade voters in these districts to possibly join. Not too sure, would have to find out first...

By using words like elitist or trying to paint us as a miniscule minority, Yes, Toxic wants to paint us as racist. Therefore, in his thinking, ANY secession movement to come out of SA is solely racially motivated. The truth is we're tired of race here in the Cape. We want to see an end to BEE, housing quotas and other outdated racial policies.

It must be about qualifications and not race. I believe thats why Helen stuck to her guns in appointing her cabinet. The best man for the job, regardless of anything.

And yes, it is elitist because you want "Cape Independence" which historically can only REALLY be justified as the whole of the old Cape Colony, which you have stated you don't want.. you only want the economic "powerhouse" of the region.. you don't want the poorer rural parts of the old Cape Colony.
