Cape Party Q&A

Well i think that the only obstacle here is the diversity of parties, DA is the closest to which i would pick right now, and although i would very dearly like to keep my own cash, it is kind of worrying to trust a party with such conservative views such as the cape party. More so given our history of racial nationalism.

I am a separatist, and i do proudly declare that mine is mine, however I also believe that we should always be on high gard, as we have already taken one big step on htis ladder, we should make sure that we don't trip and fall right back to the ground from which we struggled long and hard to climb, be that with either choices, given that the ANC may just as well be a racial nationalist party as well.

Th DA is playing a good game as far as it goes, lets not lose faith in the so far best performing and most trust worthy team.

I could only hope that more liberal parties such as the DA arise in the WC, we want to go seperate, but we need good political comptition and trust too, and although while the DA has not let us down so far, not in a very long time, i just think that we should still consider building our house on the rocks.

It would have been nice if something like Delille's old party or COPE formed an alliance with CAPE to compete as a backup choice.

lets just hope that the rest of the nation gets to their senses, else we have a more complicated task ahead

It's never going to happen. This land is part of South Africa as a whole, we need to stop following the path of the Europeans and breaking up the country into more little 'countries'. It's dumb, stupid and eventually leads to problems(Africa is the most divided continent on the planet, and the poorest, it's no coincidence).

The Cape Party is here for show and the quick cash of the political game, we all know this would NEVER work, the DA and ANC would both appose it.

Not this same looney sh*t again.

Lets start the Star-fleet party - as we wan't the universe for ourselves!

Someone please close this thread before it turns into yet another 50 page diatribe of one side going “yes it will work” and the other going “no it won't”... There must be about 5 threads covering the same thing.
