Cape Town ADSL problems this weekend?

Oh sigh. This has been going on since yesterday.




It keeps fluctuating. Earlier this morning I was getting 400ms pings to Cape Town servers. :/

Is anyone else having the same issues?

Hey,

Yeah, i'm having the same issue.. My streaming, browsing and downloading is fine, but i'm getting horrible latency issues (Online gaming). It's fluctuating between 150 - 400ms ping to Cape Town servers.

I phoned Telkom this morning and requested a port reset, but that only solved my issue for like 15mins.. :/

Well my dsl light us flashing and I can't seem to talk to a real person at Telkom since yesterday

Yeah mine is flashing as well. I tried phoning them again, but I was on hold for 15mins then they cut me off.. Tried again, was on hold for 25mins and they cut me off..

I'm connected to the Wynberg exchange.

I did 4 pingtests, each 3mins apart.

Also seem to be having some weird issues here, anyone else care to see if they can ping/trace route www.telkom.co.za, or www.telkomza.net. I cant ping or tracert to either of those :/

Yeah, I've tried:

Mweb Uncapped
Afrihost 50GB Capped
Cybersmart Capped

All doing the same thing, all terrible

Mine also on various ISP's were also terrible.

Sigh.. did a tracert www.mybroadband.co.za

All my hops were 400+ms... Thought it would be fixed by now =/
