afaik moonfruit is only a transit node. Maybe book the testkit and do a site survey before buying equipment. Drop me an email ([email protected]) and I will let you know when the testkit is available and where you can collect it.

You can contact moonfruit by clicking the contact administrator link and ask him (i'm pretty sure he is full but drop him a message). Stop being so paranoid and plot your node, there is a nifty little LOS calculator which will tell you to which sites you *might* have line of sight.

I have a friend who has asked me about this. I did all the pre-installation checks on his behalf but now he wants to pull the trigger and buy equipment. Problem is he sucks at DIY (So do I). Are there any companies that can install the radio equipment?

Thanks but in Gauteng. Checked costs of diy and few R1000 setup. Not into gaming so not sure if worthwhile setup cost.
