So people, if you could choose your own party for seceding, which one?
Tough question I know....![]()
A local chapter of these guys would probably be best.
twas a voice from above !!Pot calling the kettle black, lol
But yeah, ok..
No don't ignore him.Reason Lex explodes at me is I'm a disappointment, he honestly thinks I've "turned". I mean the rest of you guys (mostly) are real bastids to him, and he hardly blinks
You all ask him to stop.
And me making long posts?
A few AI ones but right on topic, hardly at all otherwise.
No idea how to fix this, will just have to ignore when he returns.

I need some clarity. So people, if you could choose your own party for seceding, which one?

I must,No don't ignore him.
It's been covered in plenty detail here.I personally lean towards libertarian beliefs, mixed with conservative beliefs, however I'm neither if that makes sense, I'm not a label person, I'm my own individual person.
Sure. It's complexYes do I agree with a lot of what Lex says, yes I do, but I also agree with a lot of what you say, question, dispute or debate.
Gun to the head, in this moment at this point in time, the CI is great on paper and in theory, but at least to me and what I've seen it's like one step forward two steps back, it's so extremely slow in gaining anything really, look I might be totally wrong on my assumption![]()
Yep. Not practical, but an interesting thought.I need some clarity.
Do you mean any local party that's existing at this current moment ?
Do you mean the CI referendum strictly, this party will form the new government in the new country ?
Uhh... jaa perhaps I'll choose FF+ as well in this scenario.Yep. Not practical, but an interesting thought.
My choice would likely be FF+ but haven't given it much thought. At least they're sort of on board with the idea as well.
Strangely enough the very first time I came across any discussions on this, was on Gunsite Forum then it was very early days of CapeXit, there was a member that was involved in it, back in 2021.No, that's truly difficult to discuss as nobody seems ready to suggest anything there.
Suppose you could say that CIP and RP would be the first in this regard.
I understand.I must,
Please don'tIt's been covered in plenty detail here.
Can point you to the Libert thread.
I need to research this Phil guy a bit and also watch some YouTube videos of him.Sure. It's complex
I'm going to be taking a real break. It's near end of year so Phil & co. may be slowing down too.
Mods have been tolerant, this is a sensitive subject. Let's respect that.
Come to the soiree at my place - Phil will be there.I need to research this Phil guy a bit and also watch some YouTube videos of him.
LOL. No, Phil Craig...Come to the soiree at my place - Phil will be there.
Just ask around for Phil, Phil McCavity
Presumptuous? All political parties declare their donations to the IEC on a quarterly basis. You're welcome to go find what I cannot...So many presumptions.. how unusual :-/
Guys, who says he hasn't raised the funds, or a decent part of that? He usually follows through you know
And you really think this dude is gonna allow things to just sommer fail twice?? Lol
(Apologies for Bill Gates being included in the following point)

Nah bud, there's no need for super-secret-secession."Raised the funds" doesn't necessarily mean "funds already delivered".
But yes, like you I'm guessing.
Fairly sure that if either of us were in Phil's shoes we'd be keeping things under raps initially as well. Element of surprise and all that.

On the likely-to-come-up this morning subject of what happened to Lex, just a few brief notes. Will not be answering questions as it's then straying off topic, again, which is all the issue was about.
Please avoid discussing it, being off topic.
Grant, myself and one or two others have been putting our foot down about excessive straying away from WC secession to more purely related to Libertarian philosophy detours. Some mention / straying has always gone on, but actual derailing of threads with this topic with that topic-distraction is against general rules, and unfair to those who are interested in this general local brand of potential secession only.
Lex was temporarily restrained from this thread.
Despite some flaws (imo) Libertarians remain respected by me, can't speak for any others.
If someone reported him, nobody here has admitted any knowledge of that.
He discussed it elsewhere, and hasn't been seen since. No idea what that means.
He has focused blame on me, which is why I must stop responding to him here for the sake of this thread.
Personally will just visit this thread occasionally, not expecting much to develop on Phil's side until mid January.
Will try post any new articles from Phil & co.
He who makes the claim should be prepared to back it up.
You made the claim that what I said is "silly".
Can you back that up?
I can't answer your question without questioning its premise.
p.s. I agree that it's extreme, but that's just relative since I consider ongoing ignorance of the facts pretty extreme, too.
"Raised the funds" implies that the funds have been delivered, otherwise "raising the funds" would be more appropriate. But perhaps that's just semantics.
I doubt that they would keep it under wraps. They seriously need to demonstrate some progress and keeping it all top secret just makes no sense.
It reminds me of his DC extravaganza, during which he met with people of such major importance that they couldn't possibly be named. Was probably just his cab driver from Iraq.![]()
