Sign up with GoogleI have a BMW E36 fully paid for standing at home. I am now at the point of selling it, as I cannot afford to spend anymore money on it. What I would like to know is how do I go about getting rid of it, even selling it to a scrapyard is an option for me. This is the problems with the car.
1) Multiple repair work is needed to make the car drive again.
2) I do not have the cars papers, but I am in contact with the previous owner who has misplaced the papers
What course of action is needed now? They need to have the papers retaken out again obviously, but where do I take it from there? I know of a few BMW places who buy in cars in my area.
Please advice on the forms which needs to be filled in and also any other documents which is needed, I wont like to not have the car on my name, but rather immediately transferred onto another person name instead.
