I have a BMW E36 fully paid for standing at home. I am now at the point of selling it, as I cannot afford to spend anymore money on it. What I would like to know is how do I go about getting rid of it, even selling it to a scrapyard is an option for me. This is the problems with the car.

1) Multiple repair work is needed to make the car drive again.
2) I do not have the cars papers, but I am in contact with the previous owner who has misplaced the papers

What course of action is needed now? They need to have the papers retaken out again obviously, but where do I take it from there? I know of a few BMW places who buy in cars in my area.

Please advice on the forms which needs to be filled in and also any other documents which is needed, I wont like to not have the car on my name, but rather immediately transferred onto another person name instead.

Thank You

Regards

Z.

Get the owner to pull the papers from the licensing department then sell it.

+1 on how much you want for it and which one it is.

316i, 1993.

I can PM if more info needed

Post the info here, I want to see people bring and come with their best offers.

Inb4 saturnz buys it, mods it, then cuts someone off in traffic to intentionally get it damaged, then claims to get paid out a huge amount of money from the other dude's insurance company before selling the E36 for a profit.

See my post above, he now intentionally crashes into people in the hopes of getting paid out by their insurance.
