Car battery - does the brand matter

I had an Energizer battery in the boat for about 10 years. Boat was in storage most of the time and only being used a couple of times a year. Had it connected to a Ctek off and on over the years. It finally gave up last year. I would say that is a good innings. Will definitely look at one again.

The Porsche battery is almost 10 years old. Looks like I might get another year out of it.

Both my cars batteries are at the end of their life, at the same time. Also both cars are due for a service this month, both licenses expires in a month, the Ranger needs new brakes, and the up new tyres. My next month or so will be rough, especially considering my wife and my daughter has their birthdays this month.

Buy your wife new brakes for the Ranger and the tyres for your daughter. Sorted.
