Do you or anybody else address your car with another name besides the model/manufacturer?

For some reason for the past couple of months I've been referring to my car as Bertha. Decided to look it up:

Bertha is a female Germanic name, from Old High German berhta meaning "bright one".

Its a white C-Class Merc (W202 version)...fitting name I think

no. and I didnt give my penis a nickname either. mostly because it's not 1989 anymore

What does your penis have to do with your car?
Oh you know, "I have a small penis so I purchased a big car." Sounds like he drives a Hummer. ;)

My BMW motorbike is called Thumper, not only because it has a single cylinder engine but also if you get the throttle wrong at low revs it tends to hop around a bit. Oh, and the wife's Audi A6 station wagon is called Frank the tank.

What a dishonor to the name Frank the Tank. Pffff. and now, my cockrocket would be an Audi R8

My Bantam is called "Captain Haddock". :p

good topic, I actually named my car when i got it, Its an old golf 2 jumbo.. I always heard that they are prone to getting hijacked/stolen so i had to think of a lucky name.

Eventually settled on "wood".

Why? everytime **** happens people have that expression "touch wood".. well it seems to have worked for me, Never once had issues with my car being stolen/hijacked and it might happen one day but i firmly believe my car is a really lucky car.

My old Camry was named 'Ruth' by a friend after her number plate RTH... and it kinda stuck.
