Car without drivers

Now I wanna get a car, I can't drive, but I want to learn on it, and eventually pass out with it.

Seriously get a cheap, small car to learn with!

Unless you can already shift perfectly and drive well ;)

You're bound to have problems with clutch control and shifting at first, if you get a nice expensive car to do that with the engine and gears are likely to suffer :(

Also overly powerful cars are a bad idea for beginners I think...

Agreed.

One of my sisters bought a 1.8 Citigolf Sport as a first car. Not only was it her first car, but the first time that she'd be driving a manual, having learnt to drive on an automatic - not a wise decision on her part I said.

I went to Auto Investment today and was helped by a very beautiful and very helpful lady called Shanaaz.

I took all the correct docs except my bloody payslip, which I must fax thru to her next week Tuesday.

I am applying for a R59,995 loan/finance thingy.

Look, the way I see it...

My drivers is in Jan 09, I start paying for my car now, I learn by doing drivers (on the driving school's car) and am driving by... say, 3 months time and officially by the time i get my drivers... why the hell wait till then to START paying for a my car??!?!?

Never let anyone drive your car. Thats just looking for insurance grief.

Make sure that you take the drivers in the car you practiced with.
