Card loyalty/reward points

EDIT Oh that sucks - they've changed it something pointless call moneyback http://www.gobanking.co.za/goaccount/moneyback.asp where 'Get 2% back into your account when you use your Go Banking card to buy PnP branded products*.

It's no longer a PnP Go Banking card anymore, just a normal Nedbank debit card. Dunno if the money back thing still applies. PnP Choice branded products are on average more expensive anyway (so much for house brands being cheaper), so no real savings there either.

The transaction charges on the Go Banking card were competitive though. I think normal Nedbank rates apply now.

Nothing on the web?

I used to work at Go Banking and there's constantly be special on everything. I thought it was still on - but I'll need to double check

Ok - seems Discovery gives you 5% on all PnP spend though ....

Ya, that is all I could find as well. 2% back. Useless :(

Another new Credit card out there.

Old Mutual Investment Credit Cards
Now everyday spending makes you an instant investor!

Introducing the credit card that invests when you spend! Every time you use your Old Mutual Investment Credit Cards, a percentage of your spend will be invested for your future! This fantastic concept is by far the most responsible way to spend.

Why you should get these credit cards:

Every time you use your Old Mutual Investment Credit Cards, a percentage of your eligible spend will be invested in a money market unit trust.
You can - at the very least - double your investment rewards by using your Old Mutual American Express® Investment Credit Card at one of our retail partners.
You can also top up your investment free of charge when you have spare cash.
See what other fantastic benefits these cards offer...

That actually sounds interesting - I do everything through my credit card - rent, the works, and pay it all monthly - so it would be a win situation :)

Just an example - If I spent R30,000/pm 1% of that is R300 invested per month.... R3,600 a year. not bad! Better than ebucks :)

I sent them a call me request :)

Trying to figure it out - do you only get money back when you purchase from one of their retail partners?
