A few are in the mid-late 20s, put it this way the average age of arsenal is normaly 24 (not when they playing their youngsters as its then 19)

Yeah I know but I was refering to the Carling Cup team United played and the age was obviouslr brought up by Neville and Gigs who are both in their mid 30's. Every team have their old er players.
Ya but even with out them their are a few who are mid-late 20s, which in football terms is not young.

Who cares? I've never liked this phony cup. It's a waste of time and I'm amazed why United seem to be interested in it. We played crap last night. They should've started with a proper team. Nani and Anderson are pathetic. We played much better in the last 20 minutes when Ronaldo, Rooney and Carrick came on.

United started Vidic, O'Shea, Anderson, Scholes,Nani and Tevez on the pitch and then brought on Ronaldo and Rooney....

That looks like the 1st team. Well 9 first team players. Still cant believe United lost to Derby - a team that is struggling in the Championship. Whatever excuses come from the Man camp - the bottom line is they played pathetic. Even Terry Paine and the entire studio said that was a very very poor performance, not only the team but individual performances.
Dont make excuses, face facts.
