Sometimes their excuses dont make sense, how can you say its "youngsters" when most of the 1st team are on the pitch????

Neville (Id prefer Rafael but hey...)

Carrick
Fletcher (in the league at least. He has done a decent job there)

Excuses. I counted 6 players from ''your'' first team that played last night. Rafeal is first team. He gets more gametime than Neville.

I think henry needs a lesson in what is classed as a "1st team" and "starting 11".
Over 80% of the players who played lastnight are in the 1st team and would feature in any epl/champs league match.
A non first team (reserve) would be what arsenal played in the carling cup.

Nani and anderson have been playing first team football for years, their age has nothing to do with it (both also play for their countries).

You keep saying that Nani and Anderson isn't good enough for first team now you change your tune and say they too good to be playing in the Carling Cup... So effectively you implying they should just be bench warmers.

You missing the point,
80% of the players play in your first team and would play in any champs league/epl game.
80% have played in united's EPL/Champs league matches.
Anderson/nani even though we think are crap players ARE in the first team and play in your uniteds first team.I dont think they should even be in the first team and are over-priced/over-hyped.
There is nothing "2nd string" about the team united put fwrd last-night and even had rooney/ronaldo on at one point.
"2nd string" is the team Arsenal put fwrd in the carling cup, united played a strong team which even the BBC commentator agreed on.

Dude, don't waste your time man. We are right, they are wrong. Tis not worth the effort. Neither is the CC really. But hey, it's another trophy possibility I guess. Gives the guys on the fringes of the team and in the youth setup a chance to get a run out.
