Carling Cup

Hey Genius.

No matter what you say but when you talk about Man Utd .... HenryJ and Fishfly seem to think they're always correct!
oh? I've providing facts...

FACT 1:
Genius says Nani = crap player and SHOULDN'T BE PLAYING in first team.
FACT 2:
Genius talks about Carling Cup and Nani in team = strong team...
FACT 3: Genius regards Nani not a youngster nor a second string player nor should he belong to first team...

So when I point out if Nani is playing CRAP in First team he's not allowed to be playing in the Carling Cup?

I pointed out United's entire squad listing and the team that was chosen
Yes they put forward Vidic, O'Shea, Anderson, Scholes,Nani, Rafael BUT which of those players sees the most first team action? Vidic and Scholes... Now Nani is playing crap so he's getting more game time to improve himself... BUT NO according to you that's not allowed...

Youngsters - players from the academy, not experienced in 1st team footy.
show me all the players that united have in their squad? effectively as I pointed out you would have

G40 Ben Amos
G12 Ben Foster
G41 Gary Woods
D35 Tom Cleverley
D20 Fabio
D46 Richard Eckersley
M28 Darron Gibson
F26 Manucho

Can you honestly tell ferguson to send this team into the game?

So when Arsenal sends in Fabragas then that team is still from the acadamy?

Funny how Tevez is rated as second string these days
Tevez has been left out of the Starting XII and most cases limted to very few FIRST TEAM action...
So if Tevez doesn't play in second string team, does that mean he's NOT part of the team and SHOULD NOT PLAY at all?
Oh FACT Ferguson rates Berbatov > Tevez (for what reason I have no clue)

Fishfly, you are brand blind and need to take your goggles off dude.

Nani according to me is hopeless!!! He is still an experienced player, he has played tons of games in the CL/EPL at the highest level. If he in a team, he is expected to walk over a Derby team that are laying 18th in the poor 1st division.

The team United put out against Derby is a very strong team. You must be insanely biased not to admit that. 80% of the players played Champions League football. Not one player in the Derby team ever played CL football. most players in the Derby team is playing at their highest point in their career EVER.

I am confident, if Arsenals young guns played Derby - they would rip them apart.

You fall off the bandwagon only now - Supa and i have been saying years ago that Nani is hopeless - yet it seems u believe that he is not hopeless and only needs more time :D

Maybe if we give him more time, he will prove himself hey :D :D

Even the hard core United fans have become angry with Nani's performances. Yet, it seems you a hardcore fan of him. Sad.

I didn't say it was not a strong team I said second string team... look at chelsea and their "supposed" second string team... Shevenchenko, Ballack, Bridge, Obi, etc.

Hardcore to where? I never said he was brillent, I never boasted about his abilites, I never said he would be the next Pele. I think you got me mixed up with other people in the thread.

As a united fan I was hoping that he would improve whereas you outright label him HOPELESS hence even when he reaches 50 he's still hopeless - I'm not saying he may/ or may not be. So far he hasn't convinced me enough to say he should be in the first team startup yet you suggest that he shouldn't be playing period.
There are people out there that might only peak at a later age. Look at Solskjaer.

When you been watching football for years you know when a player has talent, talent is something nani does not have.
There will be no "peak" in his performance, this is as good as its going to get with nani.

I disagree Nani has lots of talent but not having enough gametime can make your talent fade a bit.

Nani played 1565 minutes of first team football last season. Is that not enough for this "talent" to shine.

.

Exactly. Just because the B team is good, does not mean it is not the B team. Also something that some people find inexplicably hard to grasp for some reason :o
