Cars with "L" at the back?

Theres a girl in my class, her mom put an "L" on her rear window for protection.

She wanted other motorists to be more cautious around her.

IMO taxis are taxis, "L" or no "L" they will still drive bad around you.

Ever see people who are really learners? (Just advanced learners) Most of them especially the women look like that and upon driving.

I ignore the L in the back window. If you want to practice go drive somewhere quiet. If you want to drive on a busy public road, then drive properly.

Back when I only had a learners licence I was stopped twice. Once with my dad and once with my driving instructor. Both times they asked to see my leraners licence and the driver's licence.

I know this an old thread but just want to ask how long can one put the "L" learner sign. I know someone who has that Learner sticker for like 2 year now. And it's not like he is a terrible driver he can driver.

I asked him he said he has no intentions to remove it.

There is no legal requirement to have it on in the first place.

It’s entirely optional and therefore there is no expiry as to how long it can remain on the car.

It is however a bit daft once you have a license and been driving for a while to eternally declare yourself a learner.
