The last time I passed my learners, I'm sure I read in that colourful book that when you have a learners, you're suppose to drive with someone with a licence of your own car class. But just everywhere, freeway, urban, highway I always see people with cars with "L" driving alone? So this has changed?

It's morons who passed their code 10 license. Who can't drive for shyt who is using them

I noticed this a while ago as well :D

I don't think it has changed and IMO I think that new drivers are starting to leave the L's in the window for a couple of months (years) after they have got their licences to let other drivers around them know that they are still new at it.

Everybody avoides the L's

no, not that I've heard.

I have however heard a rumour that alot of people do that in the hope that others will drive more cautiously behind them...

Note i said rumour.

I don't agree with that & won't put an L on unless I'm helping a noob learn to drive. Then generally in big empty parking lots.

True, it's noobs who hope others will have more patience with them stalling at the traffic light/stop street.

The Government has changed. Atleast they have a learners, most guys out there have no license at all lately!!!! God bless SA :)

If you have a Code 10 license why would you need a learner's stickers?
Yes my thought as well. I think it is just the parent who is driving in the car alone. You can't have your child in the car for the whole day, you teach him/her maybe an hour a day

On the other hand they need to issue a D sticker for dangerous driver

Or "R" for retarded

Damn, why am I so slooooow at getting to answer these posts :(

Think I might need to put up my "L" :p

I must say, some of these "L" drivers really need to either get better teachers or get off the road. Can't ever remember driving as bad as some of these learners :wtf:

When my sister got her learners we were sharing a car... so the car had an "L" but I drove around in the car all by my self a lot.

I wasn't going to take it down every time I drove it.

You got off easy on this one Khanya.

I was expecting mass ridicule, they let you off easy.
