Howzit,

I would like to know a nice case to fit my newly bought GTX260 twin frozr.
The card was much bigger than i anticipated and with my current case all my components are extremely squashed :(
Can only fit in 2 HDD cause the gfx card takes up so much space.

Could anybody recommend a case that would be nice and spacious? my budget extends to about R400, but R500 is absolute max, no PSU needed.
I see alot on prophecy but i just dunno if it will be big enough.
The card is 26cm long.

Any help would be much appreciated.

thanks :)

I am in the exact same situation with the same card! Let me know if you find a decent case:D

I'm afraid you're gonna gave to increase your budget.

Look at
cooler master cm690
cooler master storm scout
cooler master Haf 922

I have that card it isn't such a monster - you must have a very cramped case. I would think more or less any atx gaming case could handle it.

lol well going from a 8800gts -> gtx260 its quite a big jump in size :p
The card is about 1-2cm from the HDD bays lol.

Thanks for the suggestions on the coolermaster boxes. I'll have a look into them :D just hope they not too expensive :(

don't think you are getting a case that fit. better be sending it off to me ;)

I had to pull out the HDD bracket mounted in the front bottom of my large case to get my SLI 260's to fit :P Now one drive is mounted in the floppy disk slot and the other is free willy!

I have a smilodon case standing here. Just catchin dust. Will fit 4 of those cards :D
PM if you want it

For that money you will only find a budget case. There are some that offer the drive bay to the side, so it will even fit a 35cm card.

Try aero cool. They cheap but look akay.

Cool thanks for suggestions, those CM ones are bit expensive. I really do not care much for the look of the case cause i never lan or anything, i just want one big enough for 3 or 4 hdd, gfx card (maybe sli in the future) etc. Ill have a look at the aero cool tx. :)

i got mine for R1500 from prophecy 2nd hand. its the OC edition aswell and its awesome stuff :D maybe have a look at 2nd hand items, just try make sure the seller is good.

R1800 for a case alone? sho, how can one justify that price for a case? seriously?
