Case that can fit a gtx260

Not convinced your cpu is bottlenecking your vga card, a 260 is basically a 9800gtx or something. I highly doubt you are bottlenecking it. 260 is not exactly the most powerful card known to man :D
 
Well it keeps up with a 4890 so its not too bad, anyway, comments on the case ? :)

Well...it depends what you mean by bottlenecking. A faster processor will give you better performance in general - but yeah I'd think a middle end dual core processor won't unlock everything that 260 can do... And it's quite a lot faster than a 9800gtx thankyou killa
 
aye thanks for the suggestion, but i looked at it and the space between the back and the HDD bays is 27cm. the card is about that exact length so it wont do it for me :( , the one i mentioned is 2cm bigger. bahhhhhh missions
 
Cooler master gladiator 600. Thats the cheapest case (R750 @ take2, I'm sure other places could have it for less but too lazy to look now) I could find that will fit a GTX 260 (and only by 3mm!!). I really think you should try get a bigger case though, spend around R1k. Buy a proper one now, and you will never have to change it again :)
 
Nah dude, im looking at the cavalier. It looks nice and its a good price. i wont go over R600. I cannot justify that amount for a box. Rather save that R400 for a better CPU.
 
I swear blind to you, you don't need a massive case for that 260. I'm using a Setto 1000 and it handles it just fine with 2 hdd's and the rest.
 
I understand i dont need a "HUGE" box but i dont want to have the same problem i have now. I want to be able to fit 4 HDD in. I want more than 3mm space between the edge of the card and the HDD bay so my cables at least have some space to breathe and don't run across it. Anyway thanks for the help. i will go buy something that suites my budget and needs.
