Capitec bank statements are only r3.50 per 3 months. Fnb rips ppl off why to much. Everyone wants a stamped statement as most ppl dont accept internet as it could be fraud
What you should do is download your statement from online banking whilst in the branch, print and then get them to stamp it. This is free. If you ask them to print it from their terminals then you get charged.
I pay R98/month and my statements are all free from their atms. I print there and bring it inside the bank to stamp.
All debit and stop orders, purchases, cash withdrawals at shops, payments to beneficiaries and transfers through internet and atm, are included.
I also get 5 cash deposits at atms.
So far I am happy with my account.
Which bank allows you to print while in the branch?
It does have a digital stamp with a reference which a company can contact to verify the account, but some silly cellphone provider consultant wanted to have a stamp that was stamped by a bank official. Jinne...I thought statements from the atm already have some kind of stamp.
Vehicle loan providers (Wesbank and ABSA) and a Capitec loan I took out (they actually went line to line through it when doing the affordability assessment, that's why I know they wont go African Banks way) and definitely the SA Home Loans people, all wanted 3 months bank statements.
That's what they are trying to do by charging these ridiculous fees!
fifyCash is risk. Pretty simple. And you pay..to keep it safe
