Caster 'had medical help'

Interesting.

"I hope the [International Association of Athletics Federations] have taken Semenya's best interests at heart, and the rest of the girls she'll be competing against. The IAAF make the rules and we race against her. We've got to accept that, yeah, she's a female.

"The medical team say that the place she's at now, she's a female. If they she's a female I'm happy to compete against her."

I mean : A balled man has high levels of testosterone.

I'm getting confused here. Are we talking about bald men now or balled men (as opposed to men who've been de-balled)? :p I'm sure a de-balled man's sense of masculinity goes right out the window regardless of his testosterone levels. :D

All jokes aside, the ASA and South African politicians completely fscked the situation up for Caster. Instead of acknowledging, like the rest of the modern world, that her condition isn't unique, "bizarre" or some racist ploy, they went on the rampage and shamelessly lied and misused the situation for political propaganda, making general arse-holes of themselves

Caster's situation could've been used to raise awareness for others with her condition, together with openness of her receiving hormonal therapy for the condition, showcasing how people with her condition can rise to the occasion. As it stands now, everything is still being done with smoke an mirrors, thus the moment anyone heard about the "medical treatment", it is plastered in the media as another cover-up.

I believe the time 'she' ran in the 800m should not be used as a benchmark for the next race`s.

Lets see if she can repeat the race with normal Testosterone levels and against the same athletes that were cheated out of a fair race.

Dan sal ons sien hoe die poppe daans. :)

Didn't all the athletes cheat? Or were they tested to make sure their bodies were in no way outside of what is normal for the average woman?

And what is "normal"? Where does it state that there is a difference besides training between me and the woman who came second? I can not find it anywhere that it is different.
And they do spot test on all athletes. You do not kwow when it's coming. So all those ladies have been tested at some point and will be agian and again.

The training you put in or the quality of the coaching you receive? If putting in more effort is the reason for winning isn't that just an unfair advantage? Why should you be allowed to compete if your brain has above average wiring? If it's the coaching why should you be the only one with access to that performance enhancement? Why can't another athlete use a drug to achieve the same thing?

When it comes to testosterone there is wide variation, not just between women, but in the same woman depending on when she is tested, and Caster is not the first woman to run into problems due to the arbitrary limits imposed on this one area. Are women barred for other physical advantages?

When it comes to testosterone there is wide variation,,
Please supply the link to your statement.

I posted if you read earlier that the I.A.A.F does allow for normal variations in their testing.
