Caster takes gold

People bitch because Semenya's body gives her an unfair advantage.
People don't bitch because Bolt's body gives him an unfair advantage.

Can't put it simpler than that.

Able-bodied people who are not good enough can compete with paralympians
...and no more inequality (no female events)
as for Bolt - he can race against the aliens

problem solved :crylaugh:

don't worry about the Russians - they're banned

Says who? And does she even have testes? Was this ever confirmed or are you parroting tabloid trash journalism?

Apparently she has internal testes & no womb and this was not reported by tabloids but more reputable papers. Thing is you will never know as her medical records are private as it should be.

When all this crap started the way it was handled was absolutely disgusting as as far as I'm concerned, something akin of a freakshow from the 1800s. That's not how you treat people.

maybe she's more qualified to run in the Paralympics -- nobody knows where the heck she must be.
Personally I feel they must stick to a testosterone limit for females.

Then for males as well, why should some males have an advantage? Or do you think all males have the same testosterone levels?

How about introducing a limit on hemoglobin levels for all athletes to level the playing fields?

Which posters?

Here you go:

no, it will be the only time your opinion matters

although it may be true we are all entitled to opinions, some are more equal than others

for example a doctor's opinion on a medical condition carries more weight than a carpenter's opinion on the same condition

on this matter your opinion is not more important than that of those who allowed Semenya to participate, and nobody will ever care about your opinion on this matter

but what ever

There is no link provided and the information is rubbish. She is not intersex.

They also have not revealed what her condition is.

You don't think its fair ? Well life is not fair. Should they just bar all black athletes from racing ? Clearly they have an advantage.

If they bar Caster then they have to have a look at people like Phelps and Bolt and why they are so special.

I'm sick of these men with naturally occurring high testosterone levels, they aren't real man just look at how absurdly over developed they look compared to the average man, any idiot can tell it's unnatural. It's so unfair, how can anyone compete with them on a fair level?

I vote all athletes men and women should be tested for testosterone levels and if they are over a certain level then they are banned from competition, then we'll be comparing apples with apples.

Still, it’s not considered unsportsmanlike to simply be strange-looking. Countless Olympians are celebrated for unorthodox features that give them an edge in their sports. Much has been made of Michael Phelps’s preternatural wingspan and ultra-flexible feet that turn into “virtual flippers.” Biostaticians have said Usain Bolt’s 6-foot-5-inch height and fast-twitch muscle fibers make him perfectly suited to sprinting. Other athletes have less obvious advantages, like high levels of hemoglobin or diminutive heights tailor-made for tumbling passes.

;)

Lol, so what would you consider as normal? It is seeming that extraordinary human beings have no place on the planet. Talk about xenophobia…

We will also have to ban whites from swimming:p

Consider this:

When in-vitro genetic modifications become standard place, will we bar the recipients of such modifications when they outperform unmodified people.
